Disabling your Proxy: Windows

For Firefox Browsers

  • Click the “hamburger” button on the upper left corner of the program then navigate to “Options”. Click the “Options” item on the pop-up menu.

  • Your browser tab should appear with a list of options. Scroll down the page until you see Network Settings. Click Settings button.
  • A new window will appear. Click the “No Proxy” radio button and then click OK.

For Chrome / Internet Explorer / Microsoft Edge Browsers

  • METHOD 1: Click the Windows icon on the lower-left part of the screen and type “Proxy Settings”. Click the Proxy Settings system settings search result.
  • Once the Proxy Settings window appears, scroll down to the Manual Proxy setup and toggle the Use a Proxy Server switch to “off”.
  • METHOD 2: Click the Windows icon on the lower-left part of the screen and type “Internet Options”. Click the Internet Options control panel search result.
  • Click the “Connections” tab and click the “LAN settings” button. A window will appear.
  • On the Proxy server segment of the window, uncheck Use a proxy server for your LAN option.
