Apply for a DilNet or UP Mail Account
NEW ACCOUNTS FOR NEW DILIMAN STUDENTS
DILNET and UP Mail accounts for new UP Diliman students such as Incoming Freshmen, New Graduate Students, T1, and T2 transferees, are batch-generated after the Advanced and Regular Registration periods. Account details will be sent to their email address as registered in CRS, at least three (3) working days after we receive the list of validated students from the OUR.
No separate requests to the Computer Center, nor any other documentary requirements are necessary for processing while the batch processing is pending.
Transferees and new graduate students from other UP Constituent Universities will be asked via email to confirm their existing UP Mail account for appropriate tagging and management transfer. They may also request the update themselves via the instructions indicated in the section “Update and Recovery of Existing Accounts for Students.”
New students who have not completed enrolment or otherwise not endorsed by the OUR before the schedule of batch-generation may follow manual account creation procedures as detailed in the following section.
Depending on the current HelpDesk workload, online manual account creation requests filed before or during the schedule of batch generation may be deferred by the Computer Center, in preference to the batch generation schedule.

UPDATE AND RECOVERY OF EXISTING ACCOUNTS FOR STUDENTS
Continuing students who already have a DILNET and/or UP Mail account but has lost access to it, the following are our recovery online recovery facilities:
DILNET https://accounts.upd.edu.ph/lostpass
UP Mail https://bit.ly/upd_upmail_reset
If unable to regain access via the above facilities, kindly follow the same procedure and requirements as detailed in the previous sections.
Ongoing students, T1 transferees, and graduate students from other UP Constituent Universities may also use the UP Mail recovery link above to update the tagging of their UP Mail account.
RECOVERY OF EXISTING ACCOUNTS FOR ALUMNI, READMISSION, OR CLEARANCE
Unfortunately, DILNET and UP Mail support and services are only available for currently enrolled students, and employed faculty and staff of the University.
Alumni may request their UP Alumni Mail account by accomplishing and submitting the following document to the Office of Alumni Relations.
https://alum.up.edu.ph/database
Alumni requesting temporary access to their UP Mail account to migrate data would need to sign-up for an Alumni UP Mail account first, then send the recovery request via their @alum.up.edu.ph email address.
For students currently on AWOL who are seeking readmission, documentation or an endorsement from their College would be required, showing that the student is indeed in this process. A similar endorsement may be requested from the OUR for University Clearance and TOR purposes. Follow the same email procedure with the appropriate email subject indicated in the previous section, and include the endorsement from the College or OUR. If approved, the recovered DILNET access would be temporary and provisional. For these processes, the student’s UP Mail account is not necessary and will not be recovered.
Absolutely no new DILNET nor UP Mail accounts will be created for individuals in this category. Units are also enjoined to rationalize their UP Mail restriction in communication and form submissions for individuals who are not expected to have access to UP Mail.
